Gabriel Gravagno is the leader and founder of Messenger Music Collective, a Denver based consortium focused on playing jazz, latin jazz, free jazz, and groove music with multiple iterations and lineups including jazz combos, RnB songwriter groups, and 8-10 piece bands. He holds a performance degree from CU Denver, and has studied with Colin Stranahan, Todd Reid, Ari Hoenig, Allison Miller, Shane Endsley, Dawn Clement, Ron Miles, and Tommy Campbell. He has played with musicians such as Jeremy Pelt, Brad Goode, Rob Kassinger, Charles Blenzig, and Peter Stoltzman, and at Denver Venues such as, Dazzle, The Bluebird, The Brown Palace, The Muse, and the Century Room in Tucson Arizona, and has been a mainstay of creating a loving music community at the Mercury Café since 2015.
